The Lifestyle Service encourages and supports people to stop smoking and help them reduce their weight by increasing their exercise levels and eating healthy, in the short term and the longer term.
The service will support people, in line with nationally recognised good practice and guidance (including NICE and DH Guidance), on a six to eight week programme of one-to-one motivational support or group sessions. In addition, for smoking cessation there will also be a choice of treatments available through prescription. On completion of the programme, plans and exit routes will be developed with each individual as part of helping them to maintain their new healthy lifestyles.
The range of Lifestyle Services will be based in the community, workplaces, and health settings and will be staffed by specifically trained lifestyles advisers.

Commencing Saturday 25th February 2012.
Due to popular demand Broomfields Leisure has arranged a pay-as-you-go Pilates class to be held on Saturday mornings 11.00am - 12.00pm. Places are limited to 20 so please book in advance to avoid disappointment*.
