Engaging Warrington
The council is committed to improving the way we consult and engage with our customers and communities.
Warrington's engagement strategy, 'Engaging Warrington', has been developed to ensure that local people are encouraged and supported to have more influence and power to change and improve their lives. It provides a clear framework for how the council and partners will engage our communities and other stakeholders in decision making.
Partnership engagement and research group
The group co-ordinates and advises on all consultation activity across the council and partnership to ensure that all consultation and engagement is:
- coordinated and monitored
- undertaken to the same standards
- undertaken in line with good practice
The group has also produced a number of resources which include:
- Engaging Warrignton - Key contacts for engaging with hard to reach groups
- Engagement toolkit (currently being developed - watch this space!)
